The Bele Chere 7s Rugby Tournament was established in 1992. The tournament has grown over the years and is now one of the premier 7s tournaments in the South.
The tournament is based around the annual Bele Chere Festival that brings over 350,000 people to downtown Asheville for the 3-day event. Multiple stages for live music, hundreds of vendors selling arts and crafts, games and fun for all are spread out throughout the city.
